The Mask
“All the world’s a stage and all the men and women are mere players”
- William Shakespeare
It is an age-old saying according to which all men and women play different roles during their lifetime which is an invisible stage. If we look at this situation from the kind of lives we live today or the variety of people we interact with, we all wear a mask at some of the other levels. We either feel vulnerable or inferior to reveal who we truly are. We behave differently with different people and no two people know the same things about us. We act sweet, harsh, realistic, knowledgeable, depending upon whom we meet and what we talk about. Amidst all this, the real question remains: WHO WE ACTUALLY ARE?
Wearing a mask all the time has become a part of our personality now. It won’t be wrong to say that the trust in relations today is rusting because of the true personality of people behind their masks. It's not that people change, they just remove their masks to show their true colors.
An Untold affection
There is no better personification of affection other than a mother. With the birth of a child, a mother is also born. She is weak when anything bad happens to you and she is the strongest before anything bad tries to reach you. That is what a mother is.
For every child, their mother is the one whom they can’t share with anyone, not even siblings. Whenever someone thinks of their mother they experience an outburst of emotions: either a smile or tears scroll down from people’s eyes when they talk about their mother.
There is no match to the happiness that you experience when you get to hug your mother. A mother is one person you look for when you are happy, sad, or angry. She is the one who listens to you even if you make the silliest of points and doesn’t judge you. She is the one who motivates you to do what you want to do. She is the one who fights against all odds to make you happy and successful. A mother’s selfless love is unmatched whose one touches in difficult times eases all pains of a child.
Sister's Love
A relationship between sisters is like sugar and spice served at the same time. In one moment, you will find them utterly sweet to each other, and in situations of conflicts, they are extremely difficult to handle. They are easily affected by each others’ comments, they tease each other to the most annoying level. But, when they unite against anybody, they can mess up the normal life of that person. That’s what sisterhood means: strengthen each other together! They share all materialistic and non-materialistic things and are a deadly combo for the world.
The age difference between the two sisters is hardly a matter of concern. Both the sisters protect each other like an elder brother, guides each other like a mother, and pamper them like a father. Most importantly, sisterhood develops a sense of confidence as no girl needs a best friend when they have a sister at home, waiting to bring a sweet typhoon in their lives.
